I will do the honors of christening Cactus 3! I remember we all joked a lot about how the last thing Iowa needed was a cactus 3...well I'm here to tell you that we were wrong. Cactus 3 is much bigger and a lot closer to the downtown area. The localization of C3 makes it more convenient on everyone.
I truly appreciate what they've done to my old stomping grounds (Pepper Jax). You can see everything taking place right in front of your eyes. From the drinks being made to the dishes being washed.
Cactus 3 has all the same people you know and love from 1 & 2. What I love about 3 is that after you drink and eat, you can head right over to pints.
Go give 3 a try. You never know when 4 will pop up. Haha! -

This is the worst cactus, the owners should've stopped at cactus 2. Upon coming into the restaurant, we were not greeted and seated ourselves. All the tables were dirty and we had no choice but the sit at them. A waitress finally came up to us after about 10 minutes of us sitting there. We were not given water or any silverware either. It took about 30 minutes for us to even get an order put in. I had to ask for silverware once I got my food. We finished our food and eventually had to ask for our check because she hadn't come to our table in about 30 minutes. She visited our table 4 times- once to get our orders, once to give us our food, once to give us our checks and once to give them back. Never going back to this cactus again.

This was literally the worst service I have ever had. We were sat at a table that was not cleaned (most of them weren't.) They removed the dishes and told us to sit here. Whatever, it happens.
The server comes over 5 minutes later and drops off the chips and salsa without saying anything. A few minutes later she comes back with menus and leaves. More time passes and she gets our drink orders and brings them. We told her we needed a minute to look at the menu before ordering. After 10 minutes my girlfriend had to signal another employee to get her attention.
She takes our orders and doesn't come back until the food came out. This would have been fine but there was a hair in our chips and we couldn't get her attention even though she was sat 20 feet away on her phone the entire night. Another server came, apologized and got us new chips.
Our food came out relatively fast which was good. Once she dropped it off she never came back. We would have ordered more drinks especially since I had nothing to drink for half of my meal. Despite us trying to get her attention she didn't bring our check for more than 5 minutes after we finished.
She literally came back with her earphones in and couldn't be bothered to come around but spoke to us over the edge of the booth. The bill was wrong which she fixed.
The food was fine but the service was so terrible I would never dream of coming back. I am a server myself and if I did this I would be fired.
